Ok, I'm aware that a lot of linux distros come with very blurry fonts due to licensing and such. My first experience was with Puppy Linux, where I quickly fixed the problem. Ubuntu has been a different story. Out of the love for Ubuntu, I tried to accept it's blurry fonts, but KDE has shined the light of heaven upon my monitor.
I just switched to KDE to test it out, and it's set at 1280x1024. I usually run Gnome at 1024x768 because of the fonts..
Man, I swear to God it feels like I just put on some glasses. The font's on KDE are so clear! How can I make Gnome look this clear?
edit: Does Firefox run faster in KDE? It sure feels like it.
