kfontview-1.1 broken (kde 4.1 - hardy)

Whenever I try to open or preview a font in kde 4.1, it fails to render. KDE 4.1's kfontview simply opens a blank window; dolphin displays a blank preview. Installation of fonts does not appear to work either.

All of the above work fine in kfontview from kde-3.5.9.

Same problem on Kubuntu 8.10 beta with kfontview 1.1.

Try using Gwenview (kde4 version) instead...it works fine for previewing fonts on my Ubuntu 8.10 system. KFontView also gives me blank dialogs.
