Can't install v8

The ubuntu version 8 installer hangs at 15% 'detecting file systems...'

I've tried re-burning the install CD (incase it didn't burn properly the 1st time)

Still doesn't work. Always stalls @ the same point.


By the way, this is on an IBM ThinkPad T22

Try choosing VGA mode, I can't remember but I think you can do this by pressing F4 at the main menu and selecting Vga mode.
