Hi all,
I have (don't ask me why) upgraded to 8.04 LTS as per the suggestion in the update manager. On the whole things went well..... until I rebooted.
There are several problems:
1. when i boot to the prompt the screen seems to have moved to the left and I can no longer see the prompt. I can still type and after 6 characters or so the cursor comes back into view.
2. I can not do CTRL+ALT+Fn to jump to another console.
3. I keep getting segmentation faults
4. The whole machine just feels flaky.
Anyone got any ideas of what I can do to try and resolve some of these issues.
Cheers,
Tim
