View Full Version : [SOLVED] VLC autoplay DVDs in GNOME/Arch linux

I am looking for a way to get VLC to autoplay DVDs when inserted in GNOME/Arch Linux.

If in Nautilus I go to Edit >> Preferences >> Media I find a greyed out box next to DVD Video containing the text No Application Found. I have tried editing the gnome_volume_manager settings in gconf-editor with no success. Anyone have a solution??

Maybe adjust those pesky HAL profile things? That's the first thing I think of, but to be honest, I avoid automounters so I'm not really sure. ... :-k
