I want to put a bunch of ISO linux distros/liveCDs and other utilities on an external USB hard drive to use as a portable installer/maint tool.
I've looked around using the GRUB/LILO option, but have not found anything that seems concrete. I'm getting very confused as to if this is even possible. I think using a small distro such as Puppy as a base install, or even a command line might work, but I'd rather not go through the trouble figuring it out if someone already knows how. It seems like it should be easy, and I feel like I'm missing something obvious. Can someone help me?
