Hi All.
I need a little help here. I'm new to Ubuntu and I had problems with update manager. I tried to follow some terminal instructions I saw on the forums, but I didn't know the command would uninstall the update manager! now when I try to reinstall it from Synaptic Package Manager, I get the following errors:
E: /var/cache/apt/archives/update-manager-core_1%3a0.87.30_i386.deb: unable to create `./usr/share/doc/update-manager-core/AUTHORS'
E: /var/cache/apt/archives/update-manager_1%3a0.87.30_all.deb: unable to create `./usr/share/update-manager/glade/DistUpgrade.glade'
I have two questions:
1. Is there any way I can reinstall Update Manager?
2. Are there any books available for new Ubuntu enthusiasts?
