On trying to change the modem settings to work with a E220 usb 3mobile modem, for some strange reason the displayed connections in Network settings have magically disappeared. All Networking is functioning perfectly, wired and wireless are fine.. but i now have no way of graphically editing the options (no problems doing so through terminal/gedit).

i have attached an image to show the blank connections window and that the network icon is happily sat there doing its bit.

Any thoughts, or moments of wisdom, will be most appreciated.

cheers
:)

I have te same problem and can't for the life of me figure it out (searching really only gives me this thread).

I'm connecting just fine.

I recently installed gnome PPP to connect to my phone as a modem... maybe that had something to do with it?
