[SOLVED] I have done something interesting to my volume control

Help please! I have somehow set my volume control to control 'PCM' instead of 'Master' and I can't change it back from any of the menus. Anyone got any suggestions for me?

(Yet another lesson in why I shouldn't mess around with things...I break them!)

Disregard this (feel free to delete it mods) ... Turns out the changes don't take effect until I log out and back in again.

To answer your question: Go to System => Preferences => Sound

In the Sound Preference window at the bottom under the "Default Mixer Track" there should be a list with the options "Master" "PCM" etc. Select "Master".
