I haven't seen the Lightsmark demo apart from the screenshots, but I can confirm the Unigine one looks simply amazing. While you're at it, check out other tests that Phoronix Test Suite offers too (there's like... 60, and they do a lot of different things)
http://img140.imageshack.us/img140/4299/screenshotmd3.th.png (http://img140.imageshack.us/my.php?image=screenshotmd3.png)
There's no GUI yet (that's being worked on. If you know gtk and php, feel free to join in), but the command to run after installing the .deb (http://www.phoronix-test-suite.com/releases/deb/phoronix-test-suite_1.0.5_all.deb) for the Lightsmark test is this:
phoronix-test-suite benchmark lightsmark
And the Unigine demo isn't yet integrated with PTS, so wait a bit :)

Nice test. It actually seems to really put some stress on the video card. I say this because I get 92+ FPS playing Urban Terror but with this test suite I only get an average of about 27 FPS.
I like it.

Nice to see Linux finally getting a decent test suite for Graphics. Hope their partnerships bear fruits and we can more different opengl tests in the future. So that there isn't just glxgears ;)

I may just have a very coincidental top framerate, but whenever I run this, the highest I get is 60 fps, even on really easy parts...
Am I missing a cap framerates option I should turn off?
(btw, just got an idea, it might fix it..)
Ok. Sync to v-blank. Turn it off when benchmarking.
Anyway, here, I had a couple windows open, but I doubt it'd make too much of a difference..
