eeepc 1000H

Hi,

I am interested in buying this eeepc 1000H, obivously would be wanting to install Ubuntu or eeebuntu variant but ideally Ubuntu Hardy, however am not so sure now as I read of problems with the wireless and compiz on these eeepc's

I was hoping for some advice from some current 1000H owners about the wifi/compiz issues, like are the fixable,

any info would be appreciated

I have eeepc 701 and everytihng is solved .., wifi, microphone, videocamera ,sound.

I have a 1000H running Ubuntu flawlessly (at least I can't find any problems):KS
I used a stock Ubuntu Hardy CD and a custom kernel and modules from eeeuser.com forums (under the ubuntu subforum). Everything works beautifully.

Mods: Could we have sub-forum for EeePC's like we do for Mac/Apple?
