I've had Ubuntu running on a 30gb partition for a few weeks now and am really digging it. I'm considering buying it it's own Hard drive and wanted to know if there's any way to extract everything I've installed, like packages, Wireless Card support, the cube, other general preferences and the like to make for an easy reinstillation on the bigger hard drive since I've pretty much tweaked it to my liking.

Any help and any direction anyone's willing to point me would be immensely appreciated.

thanks!

Make a separate /home if you don't have /home in a separate partition. Reinstall, go Manual; choose old partitions, including separate /home. DO NO FORMAT /HOME. You can ignore /swap
