Can't install 8.04 LTS because of trojan horse viruses from Ubuntu server and made new disc from Waterloo university and can't get it to install because of mirror conversion which claims to be free but doesn't complete the job unless you upgrade at an enormous price.Any help much appreciated [please very plain language [not computer savvy] - 2 days leisure time spent trying to help myself thank goodness it's raining here

If using Windows; download and install ImgBurn:
http://www.imgburn.com/index.php?act=download
Go to Mode>ISO>Burn. Select 1x as your burning speed.
