I like hacking things together. In the UK we have a system called 'Freeview', which is like cable and satellite, 'cept the only cost is to buy the box (and the £70+ TV license), it's free-to-air. I've got a cheap Freeview decoder, but I wanted to record a picture. So I plug it into my TV card, but that doesnn't work; it has no scart.
Hmm... I have PS2 switcher, which lets you have multiple consoles on one scart/RCA. Maybe I can use that... Oh, I don't have a 9 volt adapter, darn. Maybe this 6 volt will work... and it does.
Currently I have no sound but I am looking to get a phono to headphone jack so I can record audio in.
It's really quite simple, the diagram explains it all...
