I have a hardy installation on my computer and would like to dual boot debian. My partition setup is as follows:

/ ext3 17.2GB available
/home ext3 60GB available
/usr ext3 23.9GB available

Can anyone give step by step instructions?

Thanks,
Allen

I would partition this into two partitions.

Which distro would you want to be the default one? The one that you want, I would install second.

Ubuntu would be the default. I really need step by step. It's been a long time since I messed with partitions.

Thanks
