Hey! I want to build a nice new machine. My T23 seems a bit slow nowadays, and the graphics suck. I want to build a fully linux comaptible desktop, that looks good too. I want this thing to be able to run vista! (Not that it will  )

Unfortunatley it will run XP- on a small dedicated HD and on VERY limited internet. (Games)

Where do I look for info on hardware, including linux compatablity? I am talking cutting edge- 64 bit, dual grapics cards, Collasal ram, etc.

Ok- I ramble a lot. in a nutshell, links?

Thanks!

Ps- money is no object- this will be my onoing project. I have almost enough junk to peice together a system, but it is all hoplessley outdated.

I just use wikipedia to learn about anything. Then the "external links" at the bottom of the page sends me to other good sites.

I will look at wikipedia, but I was more talking about reviews, and comparisons of hardware.

Thanks!

CNET has some nice sites. Just dont search for mp3 players, they are biased in favour of any mp3 player apple makes ;)
