Hey guys, just wanted to let you know about the Ubuntu California Global Bug Jam. It's a global event designed to help teach people how to contribute to the Ubuntu community. Helping with bugs is something that everyone can do, even if you're not a programmer. It should be a lot of fun to be able to learn and work from people face to face, rather than from wiki pages and irc. The event will be held at Chapman University in the city of Orange, California from 10am-5pm. Also, I should have a copy of Ubuntu for Non-Geeks to give away, thanks to the great guys at No Starch Press. If you have any questions, please feel free to send me an email.
