What apps do you have in your dock (Awn, Cairo, Kiba, etc...)? What are the ones you use most often? and why?

Menu Button, Show Desktop, Firefox, and Terminal on the left. The Weather Applet and System Monitor Applet on the other side. Not much I know but it works. It's not AWN just Gnome Panel.

Launchers: Firefox 3, Evolution, Pidgin, Amarok, Exaile, Amarok Nightly (Project Neon), Terminal, Screensaver (to force the screensaver to start)
Applets: Cairo Main Menu, Places (finally got that icon fixed), Awn Terminal, Trash

I have a lot of launchers in my dock:

firefox, gftp-gtk, kompozer, gnome-nettool, pan, transmission, xchat
worker, file-roller, gucharmap, gnome-dictionary, qalculate-gtk, Thunar, xfce4-appfinder
mousepad, devhelp, geany, gedit, gimp-2.4, krita, ooffice
audacious, avidemux2_gtk, isomaster, k3b, mmg, smplayer, vlc
sol, billard-gl, mahjongg, ppracer, sirius, wormux

I also launch alsamixer rather than use Volume Control.

My dock is broken. Crazy Cairo-Dock devs...
Anyway, when it's working, I have Nautilus, Gnome-Terminal, Gedit, GIMP + Inkscape, Firefox + Thunderbird + Pidgin, and then a weather icon and analog clock.

e: I have a feeling they just fixed it. Quite a few core files were updated in this SVN revision...

I dont use a dock, but my quick launcher on Kicker (KDE panel for you gnome people) has launchers for Home folder, Iceweasel for browsing the web, Konsole, and Gmail via Prism :) EDIT: I also have system monitor applet, media control applet, and weather applet :D

I just use the Gnome panel and have it on auto-hide on the left of the screen.
