Yes, go to add/remove and install"Advanced Desktop Effects settings".

Then, go to system -> preferences CompizConfig settings manager.

There you can enable / disable all kind of effects:

Drawing fire on the screen, making it rain, using desktop cube, have your windows folded into an airplane and fly away when you close them, etc ...

you no when u drag the window of a program it gilds when u have the ubuntu effects on etc (something like that:confused:)

Do what eragon100 suggested. You can also install using the terminal or Synaptic
sudo apt-get install compiz-settings-manager
And after you install it you will find the effects under Prerences, Advanced Desktop Effects.

Can you please use the full word? u = you, no = know ?

Can you say again what you're looking for?
You can enable desktop effects from menu: System > preferences > Appearance > visual effects > extra or normal

Did you install the drivers for graphics card? System > Administration > Hardware Drivers
What graphics card do you use? Brand / model?

its a ATI Radeon 9250 Graphics card:guitar:


i checked Hardware driver thing nothing is there
