Whats your fav spot for a cup o' java?
I like Starbucks.
I found this a few days ago, its pretty funny. If youre a fan of Tim Hortons, I suggest you dont read it! :P

For me Uncommon Grounds is the best coffee/tea/food shop anywhere!
And what's more they have the greatest-friendliest workers you'll ever find!!

None for me, don't like coffee or tea. I usually don't need either, though. :p

Starbucks is the McDonalds equivalent in the coffee world...its nothing to write home about and you can get a far nicer coffee from a small cafe with a barrista that knows their stuff.

(not to mention they are shutting down a LOT of their stores over here due to a lack of local interest and therefore not making as much money as they would like...)

Conglomorate coffee cannot beat local coffee shops for taste and quality IMO

(and I was gobsmacked when I was in the US in 2000 and saw a 'drive thru' Starbucks..  although Macca's here offer crappy drive thru coffee as well..lol)

BUT..it all depends on where you live in the world too!

Starbucks. There's a few "chains" that also are very good..Peeks and Deidrichs comes to mind. Best local I've tried was in Amherst, Massachusetts...Rao's. Here, (Texas), it's either Starbucks or the local swill, which is hit-or-miss.

My kitchen mostly.

Truro Coffee House, Truro, Cornwall is pretty good too.

As is Boston Tea Party in it's various locations.

There is a local place here called Dagny's that blows Starbuck, Tim Hortons, Seattle's Best, or any other chain coffee I've ever had out of the water, but falls short only by the stuff I bring back in my own suitcase from Brasil.
