I was tweaking my gnome desktop around abit. By mistake I removed icons on panel where it include stuffs like wireless icon, laptop power left icon etc. I looked through "Add to panel" lists but it doesn't seem to be there. How can I get those icons back?

Do you see a "Network" & "Battery" applet in the list? I believe those are the applets you want to have available.

Bump... I don't mean just two specific icons. I guess I wasn't being clear but I don't know exact name for it. On windows it would be right next to clock (on gnome too actually) where there are set of icons, to do with power, wireless, any other app which is programmed to go on there...

I'm getting really frustrated too with linux...

Maybe you mean the 'Notification Area' (the system tray in windows). If you right click on the panel, you can add it back in.
