Does anybody know how to completely clear the history of visited website so that the web address drop box becomes empty? I am kinda stumped and new to ubuntu. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

when you start typing it will still show your bookmarks even after clearing private data. If it does not clear everything you can mouseover then and hit delete and they should leave. Make sure there is no little yellow star next to them because if there it than its bookmarked and neither method will get rid of them. You would have to clear your bookmarks for that.
