New Thunderbird accounts not appearing in the Folders section

Hi there

I just installed Ubuntu 8.04 and thunderbird on a VM.

I tried created new email account but it doesnt appear in the "All Folders" section and only the "Local Folders" ones is there.

Can someone help please.

I have tried uninstalling and installing a few times, making sure the .mozilla-thunderbird directory is removed.

Any input will be great.
