View Full Version : htmlentities (or similar) in bash?

I have use for the ability to encode certain things to html entities... I can, of course, use htmlentities and make a php-script, but if there is a command to use, that's preferrable... If there isn't, I might very well just write a bash script that does what I need it to do.

Okay. I'm tired and that makes me babble on... Is there a htmlentities/urlencode/htmlencode command in bash?

thank you,
