KDE 4.0.3 to 4.1 upgrade issues (libkonq.so)

I'm trying to upgrade from KDE 4.0.3 to 4.1 and I'm running Kubuntu Hardy. I've done apt-get dist-upgrade which did not fully complete. I was then prompted to run apt-get -f install which produces:

To get KDE 4 I think you (STILL!) have to use
sudo apt-get install kubuntu-kde4-desktop and treat it like another desktop environment. I have KDE 4 and 3 right now. Also, KDE 3 programs don't always work on KDE 4. Right now KDE 4 isn't the best, and I would be hesitant to use it unless you like the new features and won't be doing too sophisticated work on it.

For some reason it did the same for me until I used the adept package manager.

Adept didn't work for me either, it kept saying there were errors applying changes. I ended up purging libkonq5-dev, then dpkg --configure -a, then apt-get upgrade and all seems well.

Finally got mine to work. I typed in "aptitude install" and it magically fixed it.

How did you purge the package? I can't seem to get apt to do anything now due to this issue.
