I've installed kubuntu kde 4.1 using the kubuntu ppa. most of the things runs fine but I have some issues. The most annoying being that konqueror can't browse the web. It complains about the following:
Unable to create io-slave: klauncher said: Error loading 'kio_http'.
I've tried google and the irc channel (kubuntu-kde4) both with no help.
The lesser annoyance are kopete not being able to connect to any protocol I use and the locales not available for my language (spanish). but those are another threads.
Any one has a clue on this topic?
