new update in 7.10~gutsy: what does it do?

hi last time i got an update it rearranged some script i had done to some files and i had to go back and change them again to work right. this what the new update says ffmeg, libavcodecld, libavformatld, libpoppler-glib2, libpoppler2, poppler-utils
I will only install these if they will not change restricted codes that i installed to get DVD, stream media and wine. please help and thanks in advance=D
