Ubuntu has just announced launchpad 2.0.

It is a better interface. I think new users who didn't get used to the old one will like this one better, while we'll need to adapt.
However don't like their new logo. The gem thing. The rocket was so much better!

I agree. I dont quite "get" the idea of the gem. Oh well.

i do agree the rocket icon was cooler then just a 'LP', makes it stand out better.
but the overall interface is better i think.
