I have been having this problem and have not found a good strong solution yet. I was using mdadm to grow my RAID 5 array and I lost my power so It got interrupted. Well, the only thing that I have found out is this: I have v2.6.2 and I need v2.6.4. So this is what I need to do and I don't know how to do it exactly. I was thinking that I could just try and find the mdadm v2.6.4 executable and replace it with the one that I have in the /sbin folder. I don't know if you have do this or not. I am pretty new to linux. Please let me know if this is possible. Here is the original post that I have made but gotten no replies:

Any help would be great! Thanks!

Is there any data that is written to these files that would store information about the RAID configuration that I have setup right now? If there isn't I would think that this would be a possible solution for me. Any input would be great!
