OK. I just got a Samsung 40inch HDTV, here it is.

http://www.samsung.com/us/consumer/detail/detail.do?group=televisions&type=televisions&subtype=lcdtv&model_cd=LN40A330J1DXZA

Now I am running Hardy on a Dell XPS m1210. My Goal is to use the TV as main display for the laptop. I am in the prosess of building a desktop with Mythubuntu for our media center.

The issu I currently have is that I cant get it to display anything on the TV. It worked once. It was beautiful, the screen was the correct resoultion and everything displayed beautifully. What I had to do is open the Nvidia Xconfig setting and set it to use seperat X displays as well as Xinerama.

After I rebooted, it doesnt work any more. I tryed setting it up the EXACT same way as before and it wont work now. Can some one give me some advice on how to make it work again?

Thanks in advance,
NX

Looks like I was able to get the video to work on my TV. I finially got it working with the nvidia-settings app.
