I am trying to install Hardy on my laptop. using Wubi, it reads and acts like installed, however upon booting, I get a message claiming that the path must be a filename, no matter which grub option i choose. Also, trying to boot from the live CD hangs as soon as I press enter on any of the boot options. I can choose which language, change other settings like the keymap, but as soon as I want to boot, it hangs, and after angrily pressing buttons, it starts beeping at me every time I press a key. Any ideas?
