ubuntu-xen-server installation problem

Hi
I am a linux newbie and have recently installed ubuntu-xen-server from ubuntu repositories using this tutorial [URL="http://www.howtoforge.com/ubuntu-8.04-server-install-xen-from-ubuntu-repositories"] on a Ubuntu Hardy 8.04.1 i386 system.

The installation goes on smoothly but when I try to boot the system in xen kernel, I end up with a blank screen with absolutely no errors shown on boot console. Any ideas what might be going wrong?

I have also found out that xend fails to load on booting ( error shown is xend config file missing??? ).
