You've probably heard about the No Software Patents Movement (http://www.nosoftwarepatents.com/en/m/ev50/index.html). Its founder, Florian Müller, has been nominated for the title of European of the Year. I voted for him. If you think this is a good idea, go to this page (http://www.ev50.com/poll/) and vote for Florian Müller in the "Campaigner of the Year" and "European of the Year" categories.
