Seems like most things in life if correlated with the release, a lot of hype for that one day, and then a gradual return to normalcy.

I had already DLed Hardy earlier that week and I was watching the forums to see what was going to come up with a new release.

Only two times a year I get really excited besides Christmas, Thanksgiving and my birthday, and that's when there is a new release of Ubuntu.

I become accustomed to watching the forums and lurking around watching:

April 25, 2008....

I attended a AAA baseball game (Louisville Bats at the Indianapolis Indians). Despite the fact that I live near Indianapolis, I was rooting for the Bats since they are the AAA team for the Cincinnati Reds (my favorite MLB team). Unfortunately for me but fortunately for the hometeam fans, Indianapolis won that night.

And, oh yeah, that was my birthday. :lolflag:
