initramfs error after installing Ubuntu 8.04lts in Windows XP

hello everybody

I just got my Ubuntu 8.04lts CD..and i was very happy when i was installing it..

after installing Ubuntu in windows (DualBot)..i unable to login after restart of Ubuntu..

When i enter in ubuntu it says initramfs and showing me command prompt..

I have also Windows Xp professional with Sp3 on NTFS Drive..

I dont know how to solve this problem

Boot your Live CD and post:
sudo fdisk -lu
