View Full Version : [SOLVED] Timers and Render Loops in C#?

July 26th, 2008, 11:47 PM

im making a basic pong game to test out some new game programing algorithms (im not all that experienced) like render loops instead of throwing everything in a timer event and not using the picture boxes for the paddles and balls (thats cheating)

the thing is im having some trouble with the render loops and im having trouble finding good simple help via google

any advice?

There aren't a lot of C# programmers around here to help you out.
Have you tried looking in C Sharp Corner (http://www.c-sharpcorner.com/)
and ask at their forums (http://www.c-sharpcorner.com/Forums/)to get the answers that you want

C# can be used on Mono too which runs on Linux. So no need for dual boot.
