For months I was unable to break 4000 points, plauomg SameGnome with a small size board, but finally I got a score of 4076.

Whats your highest score playing with a small size board?

Does anyone know the highest possible score?

Theoretical highest score is 6912, if you got the perfect arrangement to start with.

Well, I figured that out last week, but it actually 7912 because there's a 1000 point bonus for clearing the board. Of course, its impossible to get that, because the board never lays out perfectly. So I still wonder what the top possible score is.

By the way My new top score is 5074, and all my top ten scores are now over 4000.:guitar:

5000?

****...I play this game too much as it is without knowing it's possible to get over 5000.

Well now that you know it's possible, how about trying to beat it.

The stratagy I worked out, is to first only remove 1 color, to try to get as many of a second color together, then when I can't get any more of that second color together, I start elinating the first and second color, in a way that gets all of the third color together.

Yesterday I got my new highest score of 5736. I was able to get all but 2 of the greens in one shot and all of the reds in one shot.

I have cleared the board before, but not very often.

on a small board, With 10 rows and 15 columns, if all the same colored marbles were adjacent at the start of the game, then there would be 3 groups of 50 marbles,

so Maximum possible score would be 3*(50-2)^2 + 1000 bonus = 7,912
