I have kubuntu Hardy on integrated AMD motherboard with Realtek ALC883 audio card.
kubuntu detects automatically the sound card and make it works great after installation. After I restart the machine and re- login, the sound doesnot work on kubuntu.
I did not change or install anything on the machine between the two log-ins. I reinstall kubuntu 5 times and the situation reiterate of itself.
How can I know what has changes from the 1st login to the 2nd one?
By the way: I checked that the alsamixer is not muted and the configuration looks the same between the two log-ins.
