Hi,
So I've been using Ubunto for a while on my laptop for school. So far so good, but I do have one question I was hoping someone could answer. I Googled and searched the forums here for a while, but couldn't find any answer.
I use my desktop space for storage of temporary crap that I download, other files I've extracted, etc. Anything that I need once, but intend to delete later. Now, it's nice to have my mounts on the desktop, as well.
Is there any way to configure Gnome to start at, say, the right side of my desktop and put my mount icons there, while actual files and folders still stay on the left?
I have a feeling this is more complicated than it seems. :-P But I can't be the only one who wants to do this!
