[SOLVED] something goes wrong when installing ubuntu [help!]

problem:after running the livecd selecting english and install the visual installer window had nothing but a patch of colors

solution: after running the live cd and selecting english i hit f4 and chose run in safe graphics mode, i then continued with the installation
