As title - nvidia and xgamma settings are reset to default when the screensaver starts.
This still seems to be a current bug...
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-screensaver/+bug/32457
I have a custom launcher that runs nvidia-settings -l and it's easy enough to click on that to restore the settings, but is there a better way?
The bug seems to be related to the screen fade-out before the screensaver launches, and this seems an unnecessary feature anyway.
Is there an alternative (and easy to install/use) screensaver package that can replace the Gnome one?
