install 8.0.4 on 1G usb stick

Hi Friends,

I just try to build live cd into my 1G usb stick, and can successfully boot using Ubuntu 8.0.4, but since it's just a live CD i can not save my settings, when i reboot all pervious configuration lost,

i have tried google but no results, can someone helps:popcorn:
