View Full Version : [gnome] [SOLVED] I need to configure 'Places' menu - how is it done?

Hello.

I use Gnome and I want to configure the 'Places' menu so that it is more useful to me. I want to change 'Documents', 'Music', 'Pictures', 'Videos' as I don't use these at all and it would be very handy to have other directories there instead.

I've attached some pics to give you an idea of which menu I mean.

I did once, a long time ago, figure out where the conf file was hidden but I've since forgotten.

Can anyone enlighten me?

Open nautilus
to remove item: Right click on folder you wont to remove and click "Remove" (in side pane)
to add new folder: Just "Drag&Drop"
