again windows with all of its venurabilitys has gotten another virus and is not running properly so yet again its time to reinstall it. last time i tried this it ended up ruining my ubuntu partition so i was wondering if anyone knows a good way to install windows over its exsisting partition without ruining ubuntu or grub.

Hi and you should be able to install windows on the existing partition but for the grub you will have to reinstall. this thread may help
