View Full Version : [ubuntu] Installing Alternate ubuntu, stuck at 75%

Hi was found out i had to use the alternate vesion not the standard one.

I was able to start and go right to the base install. I'm stuck at 75% and don't know what to do.

I looked at your other thread. Do you know how much RAM that computer has? If it isn't 256 mb RAM, the alternate installer won't work either, AFAIK.

EDIT: Sorry, forgot this, too. I noted the discussion of the BIOS, and the need to perhaps use a boot option (noapci or something like that). Such option will likely be needed with the alternate install as well. See https://help.ubuntu.com/community/BootOptions for a discussion of boot options, and how to use them.

i Figured out i don't have sufficent ram.
I can't use ubutu.
