View Full Version : [ubuntu] Acer TM6592: Ubiquity doesn't see partition table

July 24th, 2008, 09:19 AM

My colleague's got an Acer TM6592. Since he's got quite many things in the primary OS (winxp), he wants to install hardy in a separate partition.
The only disk is a sata drive having an EISA config partition, a FAT32 system, another one w/ NTFS for the data, and some empty space for ubuntu.

Starting the installer the partitioning part doesn't seem to recognize any partition, and offers only to create a new table. Weird is that I have an Acer TM5720, and Ubiquity worked well.

Can anyone help?
