Hello,
I have installed hardy in the laptop and joined it with the domain by installing required packages from internet. Now I want to clone this PC so that I can use on other machines/laptop with similar hardware without internet connection.
Is there any tool or way out for this?
Thanks in advance.

maybe partimage (http://www.partimage.org/Main_Page) will interest you.

This utility can be used to install many identical computers. For example, if you buy 50 PCs, with the same hardware, and you want to install the same linux systems on all 50 PCs, you will save a lot of time. Indeed, you just have to install on the first PC and create an image from it. For the 49 others, you can use the image file and Partition Image's restore function.

There's also Clonezilla (http://www.clonezilla.org/).

Won't this cause problems in the network? I am going to need to do the same thing. But I imagine the computers won't like having the same hostname?

Is it just a matter of changing the hostname (system -> administration -> network -> general -> hostname) to fix this?

Also the machine will never be 100% the same as the network interface card will have different MAC addresses. How will ubuntu deal with this?
