I have a computer that already has 7.10 installed, but I never used it except for learning ubuntu, there is nothing on it I want to save and I have probably caused problems with my experimenting.

I want to wipe out all the old stuff and do a fresh install of Hardy. I have already burned a CD. If I just pop the CD in the computer and boot up will it take me through the steps of doing a fresh install, or is there something I should read first?

The steps you did when installed Gutsy would almost be the same as the steps you will do to install Hardy.
