Fresh hardy install from fiesty

Planning to install ubuntu hardy on the same hard drive, but first just wanted to make sure what I needed to do/know before I format my hard drive.

Only thing I have done is backup my home directory on another hard drive,

Anything else I should know?

If you're only concern are your home directory data, then, you could proceed with your fresh install of Hardy.
