does the 1150 have the cartridge memory?

i had a 1185 that did not like used carts. it had a memory of the last 3 carts used in it.

found a utility called SSC that worked on my old windows machine. it wiped

the memory so i could use refilled carts.

my lady friend is using windows on a dell. and when she got refilled

carts, her printing went all to heck. had her download that utility

but her printing still looks bad. she lives too far away to go visit.

thanks

I don't know about a cartridge memory but I have found with most lexmark printers, they really don't like refilled cartridges. I have an X2230 that I use on my sons windows computer and when using refilled cartridges, it works fine for the first print then the rest get smears and look like crap. I always recommend using new cartridges in a lexmark printer.
